We talked musicals, affordable housing, the Kickstarter campaign, and knowing you've found a good partner when you can make them do all the annoying shit and they keep coming back for more.

In February, I photographed a protest in favor of reforming our gun laws in Times Square organized by Broadway performer and choreographer Lorin Latarro. Dance Magazine has a story on Lorin and her protests in their current issue and they used one of my photos to accompany the story. This is the first time one of my photos has been published - and I was paid for it!

These women of the Playhouse Merced in California took the text of “This Is My Body" (the film I made with Siobhan O’Loughlin) and performed it on stage. So cool!

I wrote this blog in December of 2012, but I forgot to post it here! Check it out if you’re into film and want to learn about the tools a director has to choose from when executing her or his film.
On Sunday, I photographed a protest in Times Square in support of reforming our gun laws and one of my photos was used to accompany a story about the protest on the Dance Magazine Blog (the protest was organized by a Broadway choreographer and many of the participants were Broadway dancers). Check it out.
Some happy news: “The Garden" has been chosen to screen during the NYU Symphony Orchestra Gala on March 9 at the Skirball Center in NYC. The film will screen with live accompaniment of an original score and my screening will be dedicated to the children who were killed in Newtown, CT on Friday.
